A Leap of Faith: From Medicine to Photography
A little about me—I used to wear a scrubs and listen to heartbeats. Yes, I was deep in the medical field, hoping people and hoping to make a difference in that world. But somewhere along the way, the stethoscope started feeling a little heavy, and my heart began to beat for something else: photography. It was a wild, unexpected passion that tugged at me until I had no choice but to follow it.
Leaving the medical field was a giant leap of faith, but every day I’m grateful I made it. Now, instead of figuring out a patients ailments, I get to capture life’s sweetest moments, and let me tell you, it’s a dream come true!
The Heart of My Work: Motherhood and Intimate Weddings
Motherhood and weddings are such profound, intimate experiences, and being able to document these special moments is an honor I cherish deeply. I’m captivated by the raw, authentic beauty of a mother cradling her newborn, or the tearful, joy-filled moments of a bride and groom saying “I do” in a small, intimate setting. These are the moments that matter, and I pour my heart and soul into capturing them.
Motherhood is a journey like no other, filled with countless tender, loving moments that deserve to be remembered forever. And intimate weddings? There’s something so magical about capturing the love between two people surrounded by just their closest family and friends. It’s pure, it’s personal, and it’s incredibly beautiful.
Why This Blog?
Why start a blog, you ask? Because I have a love affair with words! Writing is another passion of mine, and what better way to combine it with my love for photography than by sharing the stories behind the pictures I take? Each photo tells a story, and I’m here to give you a little glimpse into the heart and soul behind the lens.
