If you have followed my work for a while, you know I am incredibly intentional about how and why I photograph. I do not add things just to add them. I wait until something truly aligns with the way I see and document stories.
So this feels really special to finally say.
I am now offering film photography, and it can be added onto any session or any wedding.
This was not a quick decision. Film is something I have been drawn to for a long time, but I wanted to make sure I was choosing it for the right reasons. Not because it is trending. Not because it looks cool online. But because it genuinely serves my clients and the stories I tell.
Film changed the way I slow down.
When you shoot film, every frame matters. You are not clicking endlessly. You are watching light, emotion, and movement more carefully. You are waiting. You are present. And that presence shows in the final images.
There is a depth to film that is hard to explain until you see it. Skin tones feel softer. Light feels richer. Emotion feels heavier in the best way. Film does not aim for perfection. It leans into honesty.
I noticed that when I started shooting film, I was photographing moments differently. I was trusting my instincts more. I was choosing moments with intention instead of rushing past them. It felt like a natural extension of the way I already work.
That is why I decided to offer it to my clients.
Film is not meant to replace digital. Digital is still incredibly important. It allows me to move quickly, capture fast moments, and document everything as it unfolds. Film complements it. It adds another layer. It captures the quiet moments, the in between, the feeling you cannot always put into words.
When you receive your gallery, your film images will not feel separate. They will feel woven into your story. They often end up being the images clients linger on the longest, not because they know why, but because they feel something when they look at them.
Film is intentional. It is timeless. It is honest.
Offering film feels like a full circle moment for me as an artist, and I am so excited to bring this into my work in a way that feels thoughtful and meaningful.
Film can now be added onto any session or wedding collection. If you are curious about it or want to know if it is the right fit for your story, I am always happy to talk through it with you.
This is one more way I am choosing to document your life with care.
